Evidence in the Lamson Bathroom," with accompanying photographs, 1934; three notebooks kept during the trials, partially using
shorthand (no author noted); copy of Russell and Winters' book THE CASE OF DAVID LAMSON (1934); photographs of the house the
Lamsons lived in, taken in 1992; and miscellaneous materials on David and Allene Lamson copied from various Stanford publications.

Biographical/Historical Sketch
Allene Thorpe Lamson, wife of Stanford Press employee David Lamson, was found dead in her campus home on Memorial Day 1933.
David Lamson was charged with her murder, tried and convicted, but was granted a new trial; all charges against him were dropped
in April 1936.
