Scope and Content Note

Includes diary of Charles Price's missionary work in Madagascar, correspondence, notes from his college days in Cheshunt College at Cambridge, published material, Sunday school medals, a Malagasy spindle and charm to ward against the evil eye. The Charles Price series primarily documents his studies, missionary work, and retirement; it also contains a small amount of correspondence dated during World War I concerning his son Hereward. Records Hereward Price's service in the German army during World War I, his sojourn in a Russian POW camp, and his subsequent travels through Siberia and China on his way home.
