Wolfgang Panofsky, Director of SLAC, Jeremy Stone, Director, Federation of Atomic Scientists, and Tony Webb, anti-nuclear
activist, share their views on issues such as rates of technical advances in the arms race, political and psychological perceptions
of adversaries' nuclear capabilities, negative byproducts of the arms race, and recurring questions concerning non-proliferation
policies, society's willigness to continue financing or otherwise support the arms race, and the incipient creation of nuclear-free
zones. A question-and-answer period follows.
