Description
Record Series 424 contains correspondence relating to scholarships, endowments, and other funds of the UCLA Graduate School
of Architecture and Urban Planning Development Office from 1966 to 1988.
Background
The Graduate School of Architecture and Urban Planning was established in 1966, offering a graduate degree in Urban Design.
The two-year program admitted 15 students in its first year; and students graduated with a Master of Architecture (Urban Design).
In 1968, the University approved the school's graduate degree program in Architecture.
