Biographical/Historical Sketch
The Dean of Student Affairs, formerly the Dean of Students, was reorganized in 1991 as
the Office of the Vice President for Student Resources.
Administrative office files, 1953-1996; minutes and supporting materials of various
university committees, 1947-1972; Judicial Council minutes, correspondence, and other
disciplinary records, 1920-1970; placement files, 1961-1983; and correspondence and
other records pertaining to residential education, Tresidder Memorial Union, minority
affairs, and student disruptions, 1967-1983. Deans represented in these records include
