Description
Clark E. Bell (1881-1960) became agent and inspector of agencies for New York Life Insurance Company. He served as a member of the San Marino, California City Council (1942-47) and as mayor (1947-52). Mabel Muir, was a niece of the naturalist John Muir, and a prominent social and civic leader in San Marino. The collection consists of correspondence, clippings, ephemera, photographs, and scrapbooks.
