Biography
Priscilla Bonner was born in Washington, D.C. on Feb. 17, 1899. She began her screen acting career in
Homer comes home (1920). She went on to be featured in over thirty films, and is best remembered for her role in
The Strong Man (1926). Bonner was originally signed to play opposite John Barrymore in
The sea beast (1926), but lost the role to Dolores Costello. The following year she appeared in
It (1927) with Clara Bow. Bonner suffered an eye injury during the filming of
Outcast Souls (1928) and retired from acting. She married prominent Beverly Hills physician Bertram Woolfan in 1929. Bonner died on Feb.
21, 1996.
