Collection consists of slides, paintings, an audiotape, and articles, pamphlets, and books by or about Kerschensteiner, assembled by Emil Otto Toews in the preparation of his 1955 UCLA doctoral dissertation on Bavarian educator Georg Kerschensteiner. The books comprise six duplicates of fifty-three items also donated with the collection which have been physically separated from it and individually catalogued. Also includes the dissertation and a charcoal portrait of Kerschensteiner.
