Zyzzyva records, 1984-2007, contain correspondence, meeting
minutes, mailing lists, budgets, and promotional and advertisement materials. The collection
also includes manuscripts and galleys. Papers are arranged as received.
Background
Zyzzyva, the last word: west coast writers and artists is a
literary journal containing short stories, poems, drawings, and photographs. The journal was
founded in San Francisco in 1985 and continues to be produced by founding editor Howard
Junker.
