Biographical/Historical Sketch
The Stanford SDI Video Group, composed of seven students, obtained a grant from the Associated Students to produce a film
exploring issues raised by the participation of Stanford scholars in research related to the Strategic Defense Initiative.
Collection consists of unedited tapes of "SDI at Stanford: A Forum" with Lt. Col. Robert Allen, Dr. Bernard Roth, Dr. Joseph
W. Goodman, Dr. David Bernstein, and Marc Strassman (moderator); a panel discussion by graduate students; and interviews with
John M. Madey, Sidney Drell, Donald Kennedy, John Harris, John McCarthy, and Terry Winograd; and the edited master of the
final video.
