Scope and Content Notes

This collection, donated by Brooks Firestone, is comprised of official White House photographic prints, primarily taken by Ollie Atkins, the Official White House Photographer during the Nixon administration. The collection includes over 50 large format prints with matching descriptions, as well as two medium size photograph collections focusing on his daughter Tricia's wedding at the White House Rose Garden in June 1971 and on Nixon's trip to China in February of 1972 in which he met Chairman Mao Zedong and other Chinese officials.
