Arranged chronologically by session and numerically bill number.

Scope and Content Note

Bill files created by Robert Cline may include bill analyses, amendments, conflict statements, correspondence, position statements, author's statements, press releases, newspaper clippings, background information, and reports. Bill introduced by Cline cover many issues including the education of Autistic children (AB3574, 1973) and the highway system within his district (ACR58, ACR93, ACR94; 1975). In 1978 Cline introduced Assembly Joint Resolution 72, which requested that Congress reject President Carter's proposal to sell warplanes to Saudi Arabia and Egypt while at the same time limiting the number of planes sold to the State of Israel.

Arranged alphabetically by subject heading.

Scope and Content Note

Subject files created by Robert Cline may contain correspondence, reports, newspaper clippings, newsletters, press releases, speeches, opinions, photographs, and background materials. They relate to the general areas of proposed and pending legislation, community activities, and district affairs. Several large photographs show Cline with Governor Ronald Reagan, his wife, and at work in the Legislature. Also included are Cline's daily appointment books and office guest book.

Scope and Content Note

Each newsletter sent out by Cline contains a brief article on what he considered to be important issues of the time. Newsletters also include proposed legislation, a list of committees he served on, and questionnaires for constituent feedback. Newsletters for 1971 and 1972 are arranged with the subject files.
