Biographical/Historical Sketch
John A. MacQuarrie, San Francisco artist, painted a mural for the Palo Alto train station depicting transportation in the
West and the coming of the railroad with a portrait of Leland Stanford. The train station property is owned by Stanford University
and leased to the city of Palo Alto.
Includes examination report, 2003, and treatment report, 2005; black and white photographs and color slides before, during
and after treatment, 2005; and digital files of images and reports.
