Programs, playbills, and photographs from plays directed by Davis, including PRINCESS IDA, HAMLET, and HAY FEVER; set designs by Leslie Kiler.
Background
Gordon Davis earned his a.b. in English at Stanford University in 1920; after graduation he joined the Stanford faculty, becoming assistant professor of English (Public Speaking) and Director of Dramatics. He left Stanford in 1929.
