The Fredda C. Carr Photographs document the
people and local activities of San Lorenzo Valley, California from the 1950's
through the 1980's.
Born May 28, 1903 in Lynn, Massachusetts, Fredda ran her own
professional studio in San Lorenzo Valley, California for nearly four decades
from 1949 to 1985. Fredda was adept at capturing rural California through
photojournalism and portraiture and spent her entire adult life connected to
the people and activities she recorded with her camera.
Property rights reside with the University of California. Literary
