Biographical/Historical Sketch
Jesse B. Sears, a pioneer in the field of school administration, graduated from Stanford University in 1909 and joined the
education faculty there in 1911, retiring in 1942. His son Robert R. Sears, Stanford class of 1929, joined the Department
of Psychology at Stanford in 1953.

Sears, and their children Robert R. Sears and William Norman Sears. A portion of the photographs were identified by Jesse
