Motion Picture Projects Series 2. 1974-1993

Scope and Contents note

Dan Curtis was mainly a television producer, but he also produced four motion picture projects. His first motion picture projects were House of Dark Shadows (1970) and Night of Dark Shadows (1971) based on his popular daytime Gothic soap opera. Curtis followed these projects up with the 1976 horror film Burnt Offerings which he co-wrote/adapted, produced and directed. The final motion picture project, directed by Dan Curtis was 1993's Me and the Kid. Subseries contains mostly audio reels and scripts.

Films Inc. presentation produced in association with Dan Curtis Productions Inc. and starred Karen Black, Oliver Reed, Burgess Meredith, Eileen Heckert, Lee Montgomery, Dub Tayler, and Bette Davis.
