    Biography

    Frierman was a professor at the University of California, Los Angeles; served as curator of the Near Eastern archeology and ethnography at the University of California, Los Angeles Museum of Cultural History; served as an officer on the Ancient Art Council of the County Museum of Art.

    Scope and Content

    Collection consists of approximately 148 (3 × 5") photographs of Southern California architecture built ca. 1880-1930. The photographs (ca. 1953-1956) were taken by Frierman.
