Collection contains minutes of board meetings, copies of the school's room reservations with USC, newspaper clippings about
the school, ephemera, and chronological files of documents from the years 1990-1995. The chronological files include correspondence
and memoranda pertaining to the school's business matters, meeting minutes, financial records, and press releases.
The La Escuela Argentina de Los Angeles Records were donated by Dr. Samuel Mark, USC's Assistant Vice President of Civic and
Community Relations.
The La Escuela Argentina de Los Angeles is a non-profit organization established in March 1983. In 1986, it moved its classes
to USC at the invitation of Dr. Samuel Mark, one of the University's Assistant Vice Presidents. The school offers Saturday
classes for children grades K-12 on the Castilian language, the history and geography of Latin America, and Spanish and Latin
American literature.
