Abstract: Claire Trevor's acting career spanned
more than seven decades and included successes in stage, radio, television and film. The
Claire Trevor School of the Arts at the University of California, Irvine was named to honor
the legacy of the Academy and Emmy award winning actress. This collection includes
monographs, catalogs, scrapbooks, programs, publicity materials, award materials, clippings,
sheet music, certificates, photographs, and personal items documenting the actress's
career.

This accession comprises a framed poster promoting the motion picture Stagecoach
directed by John Ford in 1939. According to a label attached to the back of the item,
the poster was displayed prominently in Claire Trevor's home throughout her life.
