Photographs for the Case Study House Program are contained in this series. The Program was initiated by John Entenza in 1945 and sponsored by Arts and Architecture. The majority of Case Study houses were built in Los Angeles between 1945 and 1966. The goal of the program was to exhibit superior affordable housing for typical American families.
