Scope and Content of Collection
This collection comprises programs, correspondence, clippings and financial records related to German soprano Lotte Lehmann
(1888-1976). Also included is a type-written manuscript of a translation into English by Frances Holden of Lehmann's autobiography
My Many Lives. In addition, the collection includes a run of Lotte Lehmann transcriptions for the Columbia Records Masterworks of Music
radio series, mostly for the year 1941.
Arrangement
The collection is divided into the following series: I. Programs, II. Radio transcriptions, III. Correspondence, IV. Miscellaneous.
Radio transcriptions have been organized alphabetically by subject.
