    Christina Rivas-Louie works as the office assistant in the Office of Public Affairs, from which these plaques were donated.

    Scope and Content of Collection

    This collection is divided into two series, containing 11 awards and proclamations for Santa Clara County. In series I, the awards were given to Santa Clara County by the Counties Exhibits Program held at the California State Fair, the Northern California Solar Energy Association, and Communications in the Age of the Environment (CAPIO). Series II contains proclamations which sought to promote awareness for American patriotism and the holocaust while others sought to establish good realtionships between Santa Clara County and the cities of Moscow, Russia and Florence, Italy.
