Description
Photographs, circa 1909-1913, from his student days at Stanford; subjects include the Frosh-Soph Tie-Up, the Plug Ugly, athletics (rugby, track, crew, and baseball), Press Club initiations, Peerades, dances, plays, Big Game bonfires, reconstruction of Memorial Church, individual students, and groups of students.Included in the front of the album are 10 pages of autographs by fellow class members. The collection also includes nine prints of Stanford campus scenes, ca. 1905, including views of the Quad, Memorial Church, the entrance gates, and the campus as seen from the hills.
Background
Lull earned his a.b. in electrical engineering at Stanford University in May 1913 and his engineer's degree in May 1914.
