Description
This report gives some historical analysis but focuses on suggestions for reorganizing and improving biological studies at Stanford.
Background
Ferris earned his AB (1916) and MA (1918) in biology (entomology) at Stanford University. He was appointed teaching assistant in entomology in 1917 and remained at Stanford until his death in 1958 when he was Professor of Entomology.
