    The collection consists of essays, novels, short stories and an anthology of poetry written by John Houghton Allen and presented to Lawrence Clark Powell.

    Scope and Content

    Collection consists of typescripts of manuscripts by John Houghton Allen presented to Lawrence Clark Powell. Includes An anthology of poetry (privately printed for Allen), Essays in Biography: Four Latin American Studies, The Hardest Game, The Old Harry and Other Stories, and Tales of the Border. Also includes two letters from Allen to Powell.
