Description
Alan G. Sieroty, Democrat, was elected to the State Assembly in 1966 to represent the 59th District of Los Angeles County. He authored bills concerning teachers, taxation, education, industrial loan companies, civil rights, corrections, retirement, motor vehicles, air pollution, fine art, and other subjects.
Background
Alan G. Sieroty, Democrat, was elected to the State Assembly in 1966 to represent the 59th District of Los Angeles County. His district became the 44th Assembly District after redistricting. On March 8, 1977 he was elected to the California State Senate during a Special Election. As a senator, he represented the 22nd District within Los Angeles County.
