    Scope and Content of Collection

    The collection contains clippings, press releases, memos, and other materials relating to university events, policies, issues, facilities, departments, etc. gathered and/or published by the Office of Public Information, now known as the Office of Public Affairs. Some later clippings have been added by Special Collections to enhance the subject files.

    Arrangement

    The collection is arranged in two series:
    Series I, Subject files, contains general subject files on a wide range of topics, arranged alphabetically. Box 81 is shelved in the oversize section. Some files of news releases and clippings originally found in this series have been moved to the Office of Public Affairs records, UArch 114.
    Series II, Photographs, contains photographs associated with the subject files. This series is shelved separately in the University Archives Photographs section.
