Abstract: Colored renderings and sepia prints by the Belgian architect, made when he was a student. Included are studies for the St.
Gertrude cloister, the church of St. Denis, and the Chateau de Grant-Bigard, as well as houses, sports club, schools, a bus
terminal, stockmarket, and furniture.
Language: Collection material is in French and Dutch.

Jean Berckmans is little known, beyond the drawings in this collection, which were made while he was a student, probably at
the Ecole Saint Luc in Schaarbeek, Belgium.
Drawings are colored renderings and sepia prints and include studies of churches, hospital, houses, sports buildings, a stockmarket
(bourse), a working man's club, and furniture. Some drawings are undated.
