The collection comprises books and offprints authored by Louis A. Gottschalk, founding chair of UCI's Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior, and Professor Emeritus in the UCI College of Medicine.
Background
Dr. Louis A. Gottschalk is an internationally known pioneer in the neurosciences. He joined the University of California, Irvine in 1967 as founding chair of the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior. He became Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry and Human Behavior in the College of Medicine in 1988.
