Description
The Doug Russell Collection Of Ambassador Recitals consists of recordings from the the public radio program "In Recital at Ambassador," produced by KUSC in Los Angeles. The program featured live performances of principally classical music from the Ambassador Auditorium in Pasadena, Calfornia.
Background
The Doug Russell Collection is named for B. Douglas Russell, director of marketing, publicity and promotion at the Ambassador Auditorium from 1990 to 1995, and acting director of Ambassador Performing Arts as the concert series unexpectedly concluded (the last concert occurred in May 1995).
