Description
Photographs and postcards of the Stanford University campus and student activities. Campus buildings pictured include Memorial Church, Roble Hall, Museum, Memorial Arch, the Quad, Encina Hall, and individual fraternity houses; some photographs depict the damage from the 1906 earthquake. Student activities include sports (football, crew, and track), plug ugly portraits, theater casts, fraternity groups, and indiviual portraits. Non-Stanford subjects include hunting, fishing, boating, and train trips.

James Polhemus earned his a.b. in civil engineering at Stanford University in 1911.
