In the fall of 1954, Sid Caesar began Caesar's Hour (with Carl Reiner, Howard Morris, and Nannette Fabray), which lasted three seasons. The collection consists of Caesar's Hour television scripts spanning September 1954 through June 1955.

Caesar began Caesar's Hour (with Reiner, Morris, and Nannette Fabray), which lasted three seasons, Caesar's Hour ran from 1954-57. The winner of five Emmys in 1957, the program featured Sid Caesar, Nanette Fabray (1954-56), Janet Blair (1956-57), Carl Reiner, Howard Morris, Pat Carroll, Shirl Conway, Sandra Deel, Ellen Parker, singer Bill Lewis, and pianist Earl Wild.
