    World War II era photograph album of U.S. military construction on Okinawa, 1945, containing 90+ black/white snapshots, with typed captions Shows the 801st Battalion at work on roads and buildings such as Quonset huts for the hospital, damage wrought by a typhoon in Oct. 1945, and Japanese prisoners of war also working on the various construction projects.
