    Biography of Vivian Lee Welch

    Vivian Lee Welch was born in Youngstown, Ohio. She is buried in the Veterans National Cemetary in Riverside, California. During World War II she worked for the U.S. military as a cigarette girl. As a young woman she lived in Hollywood, California; she worked as a standup comedian in a homosexual club, she wrote poetry, she was a lyracist, she performed in "B" movies and worked as a box office clerk at the Triagle Theatre on Melrose Ave. Eventually she moved to Phoenix and then Tucson Arizona. She worked for TWA as reservation clerk. After she retired from TWA she moved to a retirement home in Palm Springs, California.
