Series Scope and Content Summary

This series contains rancho and rancho-era maps of Southern California, many of them photoduplicates with some originals dating back as early as circa 1824. Most of the materials document Southern California but the series also includes one Northern California map of Pulgas Ranch (San Mateo county). The bulk of this series is reproductions and originals are indicated at the file level.
