Administrative files of the UCSD Campus Planning Office, including materials related to academic and facilities planning at UCSD between 1956 and 1984. The files document the development of campus master plans, new programs, capital outlay, new colleges, and facilities and are arranged alphabetically. The records also include documents from the Program Review Committee (PRC) and support subcommittees.

The Campus Planning Office is responsible for facilitating and coordinating long-range academic, fiscal and facilities planning activities and for assisting the campus and its component parts to achieve their goals and objectives.
