    Abstract: Twelve Yosemite views printed and issued by I.W. Taber, from original negatives taken by Carleton E. Watkins. To this set are added one view of the Columbia River and one of Mount Shasta, probably both taken by Watkins on his Oregon trip of 1867.

    Scope and Content of Collection

    Twelve Yosemite views printed and issued by I.W. Taber, from original negatives taken by Carleton E. Watkins. To this set are added one view of the Columbia River and one of Mount Shasta, probably both taken by Watkins on his Oregon trip of 1867. Watkins returned to Shasta in 1870, another possible date for this view.
