    Note

Item titles have been supplied, and may originate from one of several sources. Items with digital images available have titles transcribed from their original mounts, if present. Other items may bear titles supplied from known copies in other institutional or private collections, or may have been given descriptive titles based on identifications of the scene made by a cataloger.
    Additional Notes on Collection:
Images in "volume 1" (box 1) have been cropped and re-mounted on 20th century board. The generation of prints difficult to determine, and there is no evidence of provenance. Images in "volume 2" (box 2) are on original mounts, signed by Watkins, and bear similar captions in ink. They appear uniform enough to share provenance, but there is some duplication within the set. The set may have been assembled by the library from multiple sources.
