Abstract: John Haase (b.1923) was a dentist in the Los Angeles area. He was a member of the American Academy of Oral Roentgenology, Royal Society of Health, Authors League of America, and Dramatists Guild. He also contributed to dental journals and wrote many novels, including: The Young Who Sin (1958), Road Show (1960), and Big Red (1980). The collection consists of holograph and typescript manuscripts for novels, articles, screenplays, plays, and a scenario by John Haase.

Biography

Haase was born on August 21, 1923 in Frankfurt, Germany; AA (1942), BS (1944), DDS (1948), University of California, Los Angeles; began practicing dentistry in Los Angeles in 1948; member, American Academy of Oral Roentgenology, Royal Society of Health, Authors League of America, and Dramatists Guild; contributor to dental journals; wrote many novels, including: The Young Who Sin (1958), Road Show (1960), The Fun Couple (1961), Erasmus--with Freckles (1963), Me and the Arch Kook Petulia (1967), The Noon Balloon to Rangoon (1967), The Nuptials: a Novel (1969), Seasons and Moments (1971), and Big Red (1980).

Collection consists of holograph and typescript manuscripts for novels, articles, screenplays, plays, and a scenario by John Haase. Includes The Fun Couple (1961), The Noon Balloon To Rangoon (1967), and The Nuptials (1969).
