Scope and Content

Collection consists of late 19th century manuscripts of arrangements for concert band of contemporary opera overtures and arias, popular songs, marches, and orchestral works, plus original works for band by a variety of Italian composers, including Bellini, Leoncavallo, Mascagni, Puccini, Rossini, Verdi, and many lesser-known composers. The arrangements are mostly by Sabbatella.
