Collection consists of late 19th century
manuscripts of arrangements for concert band of
contemporary opera overtures and arias, popular
songs, marches, and orchestral works, plus
original works for band by a variety of Italian
composers, including Bellini, Leoncavallo,
Mascagni, Puccini, Rossini, Verdi, and many
lesser-known composers. The arrangements are
mostly by Sabbatella.
