Description
Roy Standefer worked on the Lunar Module for the Apollo Program.
Background
Roy Standefer, born in Lubbock, Texas in 1924, was enlisted in the U.S. Navy in December 1941, and was released in December,
1945. He was a Grumman Aerospae engineer in Bethpage, New York and White Sands, New Mexico, from 1960 to 1972. He was also
the assistant Program Director for S/CAT (Spacecraft Assembly and Test).
