    Biography / Administrative History

"This paper is an offering in the cause of unity among the 11 Bay Area Protestant and Catholic seminaries. To our knowledge it is a unique phenomenon in this nation." From the Editorial Statment in the first issue.
This was the first newsletter created by and for the students at Graduate Theological Union. The publisher is Inter Seminary Press. In the second issue it received rave reviews from the religion editor at Time magazine and an invitation from a Harvard student to work together with sem inary students in the Boston area.
    The run is incomplete: vol. 1, no. 1-6, Feb.-May 1969; v. 2, no. 1-10, Oct. 1969-Feb. 1970; v. 2, no. 12-14, 17-18, March-April 1970.
"No parish congregation meets as a whole. Nonetheless, all members of the congregation have gifts to offer the whole. Similarly, each of the Bay Area seminaries has gifts to offer the community of the whole. The scandal of division has made for missed opportunities within the community -- ideas, events, speakers, worship services. This offering is the offering of a vehicle to promote the unity of the community of the whole of the Bay Area seminaries." From the Editorial Statement in the first issue.
