Abstract: The Pepperdine University Campus Dedications collection consists of materials related to ceremonies celebrating the groundbreaking,
dedication and opening of new buildings and other areas on Pepperdine campuses. Materials in the collection range from 1937
to 2012, and include programs, invitations, speeches, newspaper clippings, photographs, and audiovisual recordings.

Materials were collected from the University Archives files.
The collection contains print and audiovisual materials related to various dedication, groundbreaking, and open house ceremonies
given on Pepperdine campuses. Materials include invitations, programs, transcripts of speeches, newspaper clippings, and photographs.
Also included are audiocassette, magnetic tape reel, VHS, DVcam, and DVD recordings of some ceremonies. Items in the collection
range from 1937 to 2012.
The collection is arranged into the following series: Series 1: Print and Photographic Materials and Series 2: Audiovisual
Materials. Within each series, items are arranged alphabetically.
Files about campus dedications can be found in the M. Norvel and Helen Young papers. More photographs may be found in the
collection of Pepperdine University Photographs, Negatives, and Slides, and online in the Pepperdine Digital Collections in
the University Archives Photograph Collection.
