Scope and Content

This collection consists of pamphlets written during and after the First World War. These pamphlets were published in many of the participating nations, mainly Great Britain. They include information about different aspects of World War I, such as the role of the navies, United States involvement, and diplomacy. Some are works of propaganda. Others are transcripts of speeches by prominent political and military leaders such as H. H. Asquith, David Lloyd George, and Arthur Balfour. While most are in English, several are in French, and a few are in German and Spanish. Some in English are translations of works originally written in other languages. Some pamphlets include information not related to the war.

The pamphlets are arranged by topic.
