Scope and Content

The Will Connell Slides Collection contains 408 color slides taken by Will Connell, which were donated by his son, Will Connell, to the California Museum of Photography. This collection contains a wide variety of architectural and landscape photographs, taken in either the United States or Germany. Many of the slides were taken in Alaska and California. The slides from Germany emphasize the architecture of Rotenburg, Frankfurt and Munich. The collection reveals the geography and architecture of these places in the 20th century.
