Biographical / Historical

C. Richard MacNair received his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and his Ed.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. At Pepperdine, he was the University Director of Teacher Education Programs and in 1975, became the Associate Dean of the School of Education under Dean Olaf Tegner. MacNair continued his involvement at Pepperdine as an Emeritus Professor of Education, until approximately 2009.

The collection contains correspondence to and from C. Richard MacNair between 1973 and 1978 during his time as University Director of Teacher Education Programs and Associate Dean of the School of Education at Pepperdine University.
