American writer and exchange student in the Soviet Union.
Scope and Content of Collection
Materials relating to Soviet-American student exchange programs, relations between the Soviet and American motion picture
industries during the 1930s, and other aspects of culture in the Soviet Union. The papers include correspondence, photographs,
articles, and theatre programs related to Harvey's research work in the Soviet Union during the early 1980s. Also included
is a collection of Soviet-era "znachki" metal pins and buttons.
