Abstract: Article and Sea Journal (SAFR 17384, HDC 251) date from 1928. The article, "Edwin Nadeau Leaving For Trip Around Cape Horn,"
describes the impending VOYAGE to Buenos Aires on board the McCormick steamship WEST CARMARGO. The article appears in an unidentified
newspaper on Thursday, March 8, 1928. The sea journal is titled "A Diary of My Trip to South America in 1928" by Erwin D.
Nadeau. The first entry is dated Friday March 9, 1928. Until Wednesday, April 4, 1928, the entries are typed and thereafter
they are written in long hand sometimes on hotel stationery. The last entry is dated Tuesday August 7 1928. Both items are
photocopied from the originals.The collection is available for research use without restriction.
